Analysis: It was his third double-double of the season and first since Nov. 4. Garnett had averaged 5.5 boards over the previous four games. He did suffer one of his worst shooting nights, going 5 of 13 from the floor.
11/21/2009 LeBron James, SF (Cle) James scored 10 of his season-high 40 points in the final 7:07, and Cleveland beat the Pacers 105-95 on Friday night. He also had nine rebounds and seven assists.

Analysis: After a slow start, James has found his rhythm over the past two weeks. He's averaging 32.7 points on 54.0 percent shooting in his last seven games after averaging 22.6 points on 46.9 percent shooting in his previous five.

Analysis: Carter shot just 10 of 29 from the field, but finished with his second-highest scoring total of the season. He also had six rebounds, six assists and two blocked shots. He had six turnovers, but otherwise it was a big night for Carter.
11/21/2009 Rudy Gay, F (Mem) Gay tied his season high with 33 points, including a clutch jumper with 19 seconds remaining, in the Grizzlies' 102-97 win over the 76ers on Friday.

Analysis: Gay made 14 of 22 shots Friday, and is averaging 21.6 points on 51.3 percent shooting on the season.
11/21/2009 Dwight Howard, C (Orl) Howard was held to nine points in Orlando's win over Boston on Friday.

Analysis: Howard scored five of those points at the free-throw line, although he missed six of them. He took just four field-goal attempts in only the second game he's been held to fewer than 10 points. He had 15 rebounds and three blocked shots, but his scoring average continues to dip, averaging 14.2 points in the last five games after averaging 14.2 points in the last five games after starting the season averaging 20.0 in the first seven.

Analysis: Williams is averaging 16.3 points in 12 games this season and has emerged as a legitimate scoring threat for Philadelphia.

Analysis: Harden, who scored 24 points two nights earlier, was 8 of 11 from the field and connected on four of his six 3-point attempts. he also had four steals. The rookie averaged 5.8 points in his first 11 games.

Analysis: Durant was 12 of 22 from the field and had six rebounds, six assists and three steals. He's scored 30 or more points in five of the last seven games.

Analysis: Thornton, picked in the second round of this year's draft, is averaging 16.8 points in his last five games.
11/21/2009 Mike Bibby, PG (Atl) Bibby sprained his left ankle in the first quarter of the Hawks' loss to New Orleans on Saturday night.

Analysis: Bibby appeared to roll the ankle while coming down from a jump shot about five minutes into the game. Team officials said he would not return. Bibby came in averaging 10.7 points and 4.2 assists in a little more than 31 minutes a game.
11/20/2009 Kobe Bryant, SG (LAL) Bryant scored 21 points while passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the Lakers' career scoring chart in Los Angeles' 108-93 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.

Analysis: With a free throw in the third quarter, Bryant passed Abdul-Jabbar (24,276) for second place on the Lakers' career scoring list, leaving him trailing only Jerry West (25,192).
